Window Watch · last updated 19 October 2026
Window Watch is a daily logic puzzle. You can play it without an account. Tonight's puzzle, your board, your night log and your settings all live on your device and work with no connection.
Your puzzle progress, solve history, settings and a randomly generated install identifier. None of this leaves your device unless something below says otherwise. Deleting the app deletes it.
Signing in is optional and exists so your night log follows you to another device. We sign you in with Google, and receive your email address and an account identifier. We never receive your password.
Once signed in, your solve records are stored against your account: which puzzle, how long it took, how many hints, mistakes and checks you used, when you solved it, and your time-zone offset. We do not store the contents of your board.
The message you write, the category you pick, and — so we can reproduce the problem — the puzzle it was filed against and the puzzle engine version. Your install identifier is attached, and your account identifier if you are signed in.
We record a small number of named events to understand how the app is used: opening the hint gate, viewing the store or paywall, starting, finishing or abandoning a rewarded ad, starting a purchase, restoring purchases, cancelling Club, sending feedback, and answering or changing the reminder prompt.
Each carries your install identifier, a per-launch session identifier, the time and time zone, app version, platform, and your theme, palette and reduced-motion settings — your account identifier too, if you are signed in. These are about how the app behaves, not about who you are.
There are no ads on the board, ever. The only ad is one you choose to watch in exchange for a hint. Ads are served by Google AdMob and are non-personalised and contextual — they are not targeted using a profile of you.
Purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play, and entitlements are managed through RevenueCat. We never see your card or payment details.
The optional nightly reminder is scheduled by your device. Nothing about it is sent to us, and no push notification is sent from our servers.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Window Watch is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
You can delete your account from inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your account and your solve records. Feedback and usage events are kept but are unlinked from your account. Playing without an account leaves nothing to delete on our side — removing the app is enough.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing the address below.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and note the change in the app's release notes.
